Development worker - Pyramid of Arts
I spent 6 months working as a development worker for Pyramid of Arts involved in research and development of new strands of work, involving recruitment and establishing contact with many different organisations.

Part time work with children aged 2½ - 5 years in a pre-school setting, including
general supervision, art and craft work and 'learning through play'

Project Worker, HFT Leeds Scheme                                                                                               
HFT  is a residential and daycare service for adults with learning disabilities.
The role was to prepare sevice users for a move to community housing and
included design and delivery of an 8 week course on Community Awareness skills.

In addition to many senior duties and a standard keyworking role, I was also
responsible for an art and craft group within HFT's own day services.

After leaving college in 1989 I spent some time doing temporary work and travelling in South America.
